We look forward to serving healthy and nutritious meals to our guests in the future.
We serve about a 100 friends a day, resulting in 23, 254 meals that were prepared back in 2008. We expect to easily top those numbers in 2014, with the recession still in progress.
The cost to run Christís Kitchen is about $1,600 a week. All donations go directly to feeding the hungry. Our organization has only one part-time paid employee - our kitchen manager, Jeremiah Quintin and he along with a very conscientious and wonderful treasurer, keep the overhead as low as possible !
